They say need is the mother of invention. But knowing how to make fire any way possible is a pre-need we should all learn! There will eventually come a day where there will be a need. That doesn’t necessarily mean it will be a disaster or a total grid down scenario. You could be backpacking, camping, hunting, or riding out a storm when the need for fire arises. Unless you are like me and always, always have a lighter or two available (I do know how to make a fire without them, but can’t call myself a pro at it nor do I like it… I am a flick your Bic type person when it comes to fire starting.) One of the tips you have learned along the way will become very important.
