Many of us have been prepping for many years and large numbers of our fellow citizens joined us after major disasters like Katrina. Once they saw the enormous amounts of damage done, the number of deaths and the extremely long time it takes an area to recover to any sense of normalcy. It convinced many of the nay sayers to begin preparing for themselves and to understand that the government programs can be helpful but can become stretched to the limit very quickly.

Now with a number of world wide and localized issues in several different countries even larger numbers of people are beginning to prepare for the worst.
