Cheaply Become a Better Prepper

Especially when you first begin to prepare it can be expensive. I am always being asked by the new prepper  “How can I prepared for tomorrow, when I am struggling financially today?”.

I always recommend you start slowly with the basics and learn as much as you can before you spend a dime. Make sure anything you purchase is duel purpose. Determine what SHTF

event is most likely to befall you and begin your preps with this in mind. Start with preparing to be self sufficient for 72 hours then like with stockpiles and equipment build up to longer periods of time. Add an item or two every time you shop, it increases your grocery or supply bill up only a dollar two at a time. Use the FIFO method of food rotation and always stock what you eat and eat what you stock.

Across the board no matter where you are in the prepping cycle, take advantage of our daily free book download! Knowledge is power and it will always be not only the lightest thing in your preps but the most important second to attitude when surviving. Free items are the best price you can get!

For the more advanced prepper my advice varies some by telling them to become as self sufficient as you can and to learn different methods for your skill set. What might work under one set of conditions may not in the current environment. Like it or not there is always also the possibility that your stores and equipment could be lost or destroyed during or after the event.
