The only thing worse than getting way out in the wilderness and setting up camp only to discovering you have forgotten something important to your enjoyment of the trip, would be bugging out and then finding you left something behind that could have made that scenario much easier. This is easy to do when it involves your camp kitchen. Your attention tends to be on having all the ingredients you need to make your meals and other equipment for activities etc.
