Are We Bettering Ourselves to Death, While Big Pharma Profits?

Are we being conditioned to assume, cleaner, brighter, whiter is better only to line the pockets of big pharma? Could items we use daily and think are new or improved from previous generations actually be making us sick and them rich?

Some of those items are ones I grew up with! I fed my own children, and my grandchildren just like me see it as an old always there product. But are we fooling ourselves?
