We have all seen someone ‘lose it’ in the past. Usually bogged down with stresses that have nothing to do with what finally causes them to snap. In the States these days the mere mention of politics and faces get red, voices raise and postures tighten. People are already on edge, feeling forgotten and pushed aside. What will happen when times get beyond tough and become really rough?
How will people react when homelessness isn’t a result of mental health issues, substance abuse or temporary hard times but a full time situation for everyday people? When food prices rise beyond the reach of everyday people? When everyone’s children are hungry or sick and their just isn’t enough to go around?
Some of our society are already experiencing these scenarios and the results have been devastating imagine that reaction doubled or tripled? We have seen the results of the pack mentality when groups of enraged, frustrated people gather. The results are terrifying and people appear to lose their individual morals and common decency. Who could ever forget the price paid by innocent bystander Reginald Denny during the L.A. riots?
