By now, many folks have come to understand the importance of ferrocerium (ferro) rods for making a fire. Ferro rods often come with strikers attached  or that are included with the packaging. But what if the striker is lost, broken or just too worn for use? After long term usage like any other tool parts eventually wear out and have to be replaced.
