DIY Wood Stove Heat Reclaimer

No matter what method you use to heat your home you want it to be as effective as possible. This includes wood stoves. You want the fuel you use to stretch and be as efficient as possible.
When heating with a wood stove, quite a bit of your heat is being lost up the stove pipe. A reclaimer can capture and make usable that lost heat. Available for purchase from almost any vender that sells wood stoves. But you can with a little skill and time make one yourself.
If you do use a reclaimer I am advised that you will need to clean your stove pipe more often to prevent build up that now may not burn off.
