DIY Portable Power Pack
You’re going to really like this portable power pack that you can make for right around $25 USD or less if you already have a spare car battery.
You can get a good battery very cheap at an auto junk yard. But If you have access to or can find one within your budget a group 24 marine deep cycle battery is preferred and will bring you optimum results. If you do use the marine battery additional terminals won’t be needed as they ordinarily come with lugs and wing nuts that will suffice for your purposes for this project.
Additional tools and supplies needed include a marine battery box, a 12v accessory kit, 2 battery terminals, a wire stripper/crimper, 2 ring terminals and butt splice, and an ATO fuse holder .
