Opening a Master Lock W/Out Keys or Specialty Tools
This is a little trick has been known by the crooks and bad guys for some time. I am sharing it so you will also now know it. Knowledge is power and forewarned is forearmed.
I have always known that a padlock could be removed with a bolt cutter, some strength and the determination to do so. I even have a pair of said cutters in my bug out bag. Not because I intend to loot! Rather to perhaps enter closed buildings to hide if necessary Ie… in my rural small town one of the only buildings built in a manner and during a time where it was expected to withstand bombs is the old train station which is now only half used, and the older portion of the building built with heavy duty materials is locked off from the public by a series of padlocks. If I ever needed a bomb shelter that is where I would go!
However, we now see evidence in the video below that opening one of these locks can be done much easier than with a big cumbersome bolt cutter. If you are using a master lock to protect your property you may want to rethink that choice and if you think there may come a time of lawlessness when you are in desperate need of shelter and supplies and this knowledge will come in handy.
If you should happen to be a wanna be bad guy and are seeing this trick for the first time, consider another profession as you are behind the times in breaking and entering and will probably get yourself killed by an armed homeowner! Everyone else see the video below and be warned that your security may not be as secure as you had hoped.
