15 Preparations for the Wave of Collapse
The featured article today deals with the domino effect of the world’s economy. Our economies are all global now and intertwined so when one thread is pulled and begins to unravel everything else also begins to unwind. Leading to eventual collapse.
I can attest that one disaster can indeed cause another. We had a serious flood in the county that I currently reside in. Lots of property and livestock lost to the waters. Fortunately, no human lives were lost. However, a giant portion of the freeway that runs from the Canadian border to the Mexican border was washed away and underwater for some time. The railway tracks followed that particular portion of freeway as well. This stopped both trains and trucks from running their usual routes. Within days the local stores not damaged by flood waters were empty without any idea of when they might again receive new stock. My home was high and dry, but we were trapped in a location without the ability to restock supplies. Because we were prepared my family and I whizzed through this natural disaster without issue. But those who were not did not.
The wave of economic collapse works in much the same way. With one problem leading to another and spreading exponentially as is it all unravels. Many Americans and countries dependent upon our economy for imports and our exports are very concerned that this is an inevitable consequence of todays lack of self sufficiency of our countries’ governments and citizens.
How can you help yourself ride this wave of collapse and come out thriving? Backdoor Survival has some ideas on the appropriate preparations we can make. See them at the link below
