Tips for preparing a first aid kit for the wilderness. Know before you go into the backcountry how to deal with any situation that could arise. As stated in the featured article; the smallest of injuries can turn into a serious health issue if not properly treated immediately. Carrying or being carried out of the wilderness is not how you want your relaxing backpacking, camping, hunting, or hiking trip to end!

This also applies to any bug out scenario. Even if you’re not trudging through the woods, you could well be in an area that is unknown territory to you. Again in this scenario the smallest issue could become the difference between life and death. There might well be no way to get yourself or someone else to appropriate medical care.
