Are Preppers a Growing Generation of Crazy?
Are preppers over-reacting and creating an atmosphere of fear or mistrust that isn’t warranted? Are they conspiracy nuts and kooks assuming governments are out to get them? Most importantly are they crazed dangerous folks who are raising a new generation of crazy?
I personally feel that depends upon the individual, the reason for prepping, the extent of preparedness, and the attitudes taught to the children they influence. In general, I prep not for doomsday, but for disaster out of my control. Just like I purchase auto insurance in preparation for the possibility of an accident. And just like with an accident it may just be a fender bender or a total loss with injury or even death. My concern or lack there of in trusting governments is based on my personal experience as I feel it is with most of us! I tend to trust the government as a whole, a bunch more than I do any individual politician! Governments are suppose to be for the people and of the people, the problem is that they are made up of politicians who are not public servants but like the rest of us trying to do what is best for themselves first. The two are directly opposed to each other and that could lead to corruption! Once again it depends upon the government and the priorities of those who make it up.
What is your opinion? What and who are real preppers and who are those who intentions are not good and use the label prepper to cover miss deeds they hope to someday carry out? See the opinion of
Preppers, a growing generation of ‘crazy’?
