Protecting Yourself from Home Invasion
Graphic: effectivecoverage_com
Home invasions are becoming more and more troublesome and more common. There are many steps that can be taken to protect ourselves from these
crimes, but unfortunately we continue to make the same mistakes over and over giving these often violent
criminals the opening they need. Openings like, not having adequate locks or
alarm systems, opening our doors to people we don’t know, like the delivery man. Any valid company will tell you who is coming and when. Then there is the pride issue, telling others what you have in your home whether it’s a new big screen television or the addition of a safe into the house. This is especially true of our children who like to talk about the ‘newness’ at home. Pay attention to who knows what, what your daily postman looks like, who delivers your pizza etc. Other tips found in the featured article linked below.
